What?

Inspect insects, befriend bumblebees, and eat insects - all at this year's Insectival Festival! #Insectival

Creepy crawly activities include:

  • Honey Extraction with the Chattahoochee Valley Beekeepers*
  • Oxbow's Infamous Cricket Spitting Contest
  • Hands-on insect inspections
  • Sweet buggy treats
  • And more!

*Admission to the Honey extraction demonstration is free, but please pick up a ticket for the demonstration at the table under the pavilion leading up to the main building. A ticket will ensure your seat. Seating is limited.

Schedule of Events

Times for the honey extraction are:

  • 10:15
  • 11:30
  • 12:45
  • 2:00

Seats are limited.  Visitors will be seated in order of arrival to the honey extraction event.  After each show, visitors will be able to purchase honey.  


How Much?

Admission: $5 per person, children three and under get in free. Bills larger than $20 will NOT be accepted.
