What?

Each nature-themed program may be full of crafts, storytelling, hikes, songs, games, and more! Programs are recommended for ages three through seven.


When?

#1) Amazing Insects

June 10, 2014 | 10-11am or 1:30-2:30pm

Let's go outside and explore the big, the small, and the amazing world of insects!

#2) Owls

June 24, 2014 | 10-11am or 1:30-2:30pm

Whoooooo are these amazing predators? This program promises to be a "hoot" as your children learn about the life of an owl!

#3) Wildlife Safari

July 1, 2014 | 10-11am or 1:30-2:30pm

We are going on a searchin' safari for wildlife found along Oxbow's nature trails. Your children will even have a chance to create (and wear!) their own safari gear!

#4) Tree Friends

July 15, 2014 | 10-11am or 1:30-2:30pm

Trees are all around us, but do you know how they help us? "Branch out" and find out during this program!

Please arrive early. Programs will begin promptly at 10am!


Where?

Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center [Directions]

Some programs will be conducted outside so please come prepared. Wear proper shoes, sunscreen, and bug spray, and bring water. Please keep in mind that our trails are unpaved if you plan to bring a stroller or similar item.


How Much?

Admission is $5 per person per program (no charge for infants).

Pre-registration is required. Program is limited to 15 participants. Registration closes the Monday before each program by COB (4pm for Oxbow Meadows).
