Nature Fest is back for a fun, fast-paced day of nature exploration at Oxbow Meadows. Join us from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for hands-on activities for all ages, including meeting local environmental organizations, making crafts, learning about honey bees, exploring native plants, trying your hand at paper-making, tackling hands-on environmental engineering challenges, and playing outdoor games.
Then stick around from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM for a live reptile show with Jason Clark or Southeastern Reptile Rescue, featuring up-close animal encounters and fascinating reptile facts.
Come celebrate the natural world with us in a shorter, family-friendly format that still packs in plenty of discovery.
Cost:
- $8 adults and children
- 2 and under free
Food will not be available for purchase, but you are welcome to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy it at our picnic tables.

Rise and shine for a guided birdwatching walk! Whether you're a beginner or an experienced birder, join us to spot local and migrating birds before the festival begins. Space is limited—reserve your spot early! Binoculars will be available to borrow for the hike.
