Celebrate all things nature this year at Nature Festival on April 20th, 2024 from 10-2pm. With community vendors, hands-on activities, live animal encounters, guided hikes on the Walt & Frank Chambers Birding Trail and so much more, do not miss this day of exploration!

9:30am | Om in the Meadows
Arrive early and enjoy an easy yoga class surrounded by nature. Yoga mats are not provided, limited supply of carpet tiles for guests.

10:00am | Gates Open for Nature Fest
Come on inside and meet our vendors, participate in hands-on activities, and explore Nature Fest!

10:15am | Nature Hike
Lead by Oxbow Meadows, enjoy a guided hike to learn to identify both flora and fauna. Binoculars provided.

11:00am | Southeastern Reptile Rescue
Jason Clark of Southeastern Reptile Rescue returns to Oxbow! Experience a live animal presentation and opportunity to see more native and nonnative reptiles.

12:15pm | Bzzz About Bees
Meet at the Oxbow Bee-yard for a presentation by the Chattahoochee Valley Beekeeping Association.

1:00pm | Picnic with the Tortoises
Guest will have opportunity to feed tortoises with animal food provided by Oxbow staff. Bring your own picnic lunch to enjoy with them!

1:30pm | Nature Scavenger Hunt Hike
Calling all nature adventurers! Experience fun ways to explore trails with scavenger hunts and activities along the way.

2:00pm | Nature Fest Ends, Gates Close
