Water Goat Trash Boom

An Oxbow Meadows Project

Help us reach our $5,000 goal!

Fully funded!

Thank you for your support!

Man-made debris, in particular plastic products, in our waterways are a significant pollution problem in Columbus and worldwide. While reduction at the source is vital, we also have the responsibility to mitigate the problem.

We would like you to join with Columbus State University, Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center, Columbus Water Works, and the Chattahoochee River Conservancy to support our efforts to install a Water Goat Trash Boom in Lindsay Creek on Columbus State University.

The location on the CSU campus captures debris from commercial areas upstream and provides a “learning laboratory” for undergraduate and 6-12 students in our region. You can support this effort with a tax deductible donation to our campaign.

Please consider supporting not only environmental stewardship but also environmental education. Thank you for helping us preserve our community.
