Join the Chattahoochee Valley Beekeepers Association and Oxbow Meadows for a day long workshop and learn what’s the “buzz” about honey bees!

Important Information
Must have a parent/guardian present during the workshop. Waivers are required for all participants to sign. Experienced CVBA beekeepers will teach and oversee the program. Children will watch a video, have opportunity to look at beekeeping equipment, participate in hands-on activity, participate in live beehive inspection, and help extract honey. Children must bring a lunch. All participants will be in the bee yard in contact with live honey bees, if you are allergic to bees, please take this into consideration before registering.
