The Ethan Parmer Memorial Fund

Ethan Parmer and a dog

Ethan Parmer

Ethan Parmer was a longtime friend and volunteer of Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center. Ethan loved the reptiles at Oxbow Meadows and was passionate about learning more about them.  After his death in 2010, Ethan’s family and friends began working on a way to permanently honor his memory at Oxbow. In 2012, after two years of dedicated fundraising from family and friends, they unveiled a new reptile habitat for rescued reptiles.  In 2015, friends and family helped raise additional funds to update the alligator exhibit, that provides home for 4-6 rescued alligators.
